I have found that podcasts are a great way to start the day or to wind down at the end of a long day. I incorporate podcasts into my morning and night routines. After I have scrolled through Facebook and Insta, I throw on a podcast or two with the lights off and just listen. Podcasts are a great tool to use for personal growth, both spiritually and emotionally.
So, I have complied a list of my favorite podcasts! I, in no way, am the grand decider of the best podcasts out there. These are actual podcasts I listen to every week. I'm not sure they rank the highest or have the most subscribers, but I love them. Some are geared toward Christians, and some are just for girls in their 20's who need a little guidance and uplifting from other awesome women.
I'd love to hear your thoughts! If you love these podcasts as much as I do, or have ones you think I should check out, please comment below! Don't be shy! I want to hear from you!

- How to Breathe Into The Moment
- Trusting Yourself
- Growing Up & Living Alone
While Kalyn's podcast is relatively new, she is definitely one to jump on board with in the beginning! This is a perfect podcast for women in their 20's who need some encouragement and to hear some advice as they transition from being an adolescent into adulthood.
The Confident Single Women // Website and iTunes
This was the first podcast I started listening to and it's absolutely what got me hooked! The creator, Starr Burroughs, is engaging, energetic, and downright honest. Her podcasts's tagline, "If you're a single Christian woman who loves her single life, yet desperately wants to get married, then tune in!", spoke to me on a spiritual level. I appreciate her openness about an ungodly past and her advice on how to live for Him starting now. Starr also has a book titled The Ineligible Bachelorette. Some of her topics include:
- Overcoming an Ungodly Past and Making Up for Lost Time as a Single Christian
- What To Do If You've Lost All (or Most) Hope as a Single Christian Woman
- How to Attract the Man You Want as a Single Christian Woman
In my current singleness, I have loved the hope and advice this podcast has given me! This podcast is great to learn about how to be a single Christian, to not pine after marriage, but to develop yourself so that God may bring the right man into your life when you are ready.

Millennial // Website and iTunes
Millennial is SUCH a great podcast for anyone who identifies as a millennial. Megan Tan created this podcast out of passion with just a laptop and a microphone, but it quickly became her full time gig, and it's easy to see why. Her life woes are typical of any millennial, but it's her delivery that keeps me coming back for more. She is funny, quick-witted, and real. Some of her topics include:
- Men, Moms & Money
- I Never Talk About Politics
- Your Tax Return, Yourself
I know millennials often get a lot of flack. It's awesome to listen to how this millennial is making the most of it! This is another podcast for 20 somethings who feel lost learning how to become an adult. Megan Tan really helps you feel like you're not alone in your struggles of growing up.
Love Life with Matthew Hussey // iTunes
Matthew Hussey came into my life via Facebook. His videos of love seminars popped up in the queue after videos of wedding fails and babies laughing (which I love). First of all, this man's voice is like butter and his accent, WOW. It doesn't hurt that he's pretty handsome too...but let's get back to the topic, shall we? After watching 1 of his videos, I quickly looked him up on my podcast app, Castbox, and I discovered Love Life has 100 casts! The iTunes description hooked me immediately. It starts "Get coached by the World’s #1 Dating Expert for Women! Matthew Hussey is a NY Times best-selling author, Cosmo columnist, and The Today Show’s Resident Love Expert." I mean come on! As a girl looking for love, this was an easy choice! Some of his topics include:
- The (Low-Pressure) Friday Night First Date
- Did You Make the Wrong Decision to Let Him Go?
- 5 Quick Tips to Be Their Favorite Dinner Guest
Love Life always leaves me with a little nugget of knowledge that has helped me think about dating and love in a new way. I hope it does for you too!
